On June 7th, 2022, SW Hackett Lodge, again honored the Sequoia Elementary School's Teachers of the Year.  This year we honored three teachers because we were unable to make any presentations in 2020 and 2021.  Tonight we honored; for 2020, Claudia Wells.  For 2021 the presentation went to Melinda Kelly and for 2022, Autumn Miller was honored.   We congratulate all three of these committed teachers and educators. Also this evening, Mr. Ryan Kissel, the Principal of Sequoia Elementary school was finally presented with a certificate to thank him for continuing his involvement in the S.W. Hackett Lodge Partnership in Education program.

As usual, Worshipful Jim Achenbach, head of the Partnership in Education program
welcomes everyone and introduces Principal Kissel.

Also as always, Principal Kissel, thanks SW Hackett Lodge and Worshipful Achenbach for all its work with the
Partnership in Education program with Sequoia Elementary School.  He then introduced the
teachers to be honored.  The Teacher of the Year for 2020, Claudia Wells, could not be
present.  Claudia is a two-time Teacher of the Year and we missed her.

The first to be presented was Melinda Kelly.  She was honored as Teacher of the Year for 2021

Then Autumn Miller, Teacher of the Year for 2022, received her certificate and her monetary award.

Then a certificate of appreciation was presented to Mr. Ryan Kissel, Principal of
Sequoia Elementary School, for his continued involvement in the
S.W. Hackett Partnership in Education program for more than 12 years.

It was a fun evening as it is each year.  We sincerely thank these educators.
