The
Samuel
Warren Hackett Lodge 2021 picnic was held st Santee Lakes recreation
area as usual, but in a new spot. Wor. Chris Parker reserved the
Gazebo at the North end of the park. It was a great location and
made for lots of fun. Most of those who said they would be there
were, but a few did make it and we all missed them. Worshipful Master Chris and his
beautiful wife Finesse hosted the event. They did such a
wonderful job and put in so very much work and money to make this
year's picnic such a great success. After a year and a half of
not being able to meet our dear friends, it was such a joy to be able
to be with them all again. It would have been nice if others had
attended, but for those of us who did, we all experienced great food
and great comradery. Then as a topper, Wor. Dick Covert secretly
arranged for his son Rich, who runs an ice cream catering business, to
furnish us with the ice cream desert of our choice. I know that
we all sincerely thank Wor. Chris, Finesse, and Wor. Dick Covert and
his son Rich for a great picnic.
