The Hiram Award is presented to a worthy Brother to commemorate his contribution to his lodge, his Brothers and his community. These Hiram Award recipients have demonstrated a moral clarity, consistency of purpose, and devotion to Freemasonry that warrants their recognition and has perpetuated the legacy of Samuel Warren Hackett. 2022

Worshipful Norman Chris Parker
Worshipful Parker was chosen unanimously by the committee because from the time he affiliated with S.W. Hackett lodge he worked tirelessly to help the lodge and the Brothers. He worked through the Junior Warden and Senior Warden chairs and became the Master in 2020. He remained as Master for 2021 due to the virus. Chris has shown real dedication and continual commitment to the Lodge. We congratulate Worshipful Chris on being selected for the Hiram Award in 2022

Camino del Rio South Creating the Experience On
October 11th of 1923, a small group of friends in the dusty little city
of San Diego determined to become Brothers. In founding S.W. Hackett
lodge they expressed a shared belief in the tenets of America's
founding brothers, a determination to make a difference in the
community, a commitment to their families, and a desire to study and
understand the philosophy and ethical teachings of an institution whose
foundation lies buried deeper than the study of recorded history has
excavated.
