December 17, 2022, was the Saturday for the deliveries of food, gifts and money to families in need from Samuel Warren Hackett Lodge's Brethren and ladies.  As usual, the food and gifts were generously donated by the members and ladies of the lodge.  Also as usual, the families that need help were chosen by Sequoia Elementary Elementary School.  Worshipful Jim Achenbach, PM, organizes this event each year.  It is Hackett's way of helping to make a better Christmas meal and some gifts for the children of these families.  This was a bit of an unusual year since hardship has really hit some of the families.  One of the families was actually living in their car and one was living in a motel.  We can only hope that these deliveries help in some way to bring a little joy to those in such trying situations.

Here are the wonderful folks who helped to make these deliveries possible.  There were only two
who did not make it for the presentation.  Worshipful David Haslim, PM and his wonderful lady Marty
were part of the donations but didn't make it to this meeting.
