Again this year, Samuel Warren Hackett Lodge assisted in the sponsoring of the Sequoia Elementary School Spelling Bee with monetary awards for the winners.  The first, second and third place winners in each of the 4th, 5th and 6th grades were presented with a check from the Hackett Lodge Partnership in Education fund.

It was another fun evening and interesting for the participants and the guests.

Also, as always, Worshipful Jim Achenbach, PM, as the Chairman of the Schools committee and Partnership in Education with Sequoia Elementary School did a great job.

With Brother Bob Salini and Worshipful Clint Black, PM, in the back, here again are all the participants, intelligent kids and good sports all.  Even when they missed a word, they continued to cheer on their classmates.  Great group of kids.

Samuel Warren Hackett Lodge is so pleased to be involved with this program and thanks Principal Kissel, Sequoia Elementary School and all the kids for a fun evening.  We'll be back next year.
