As we do every year, on December 22, 2016, Samuel Warren Hackett Lodge's Brethren and ladies gathered, to again deliver food and gifts to help five families who are not as fortunate as we are and who would not have a good Christmas without the generosity of others.  This year, as each year, the families that needed help were chosen by our partner in education, Sequoia Elementary School.  Worshipful Jim Achenbach, PM, organizes this event each year and all the ladies and Brethren are eager to volunteer to furnish food for the table and gifts for the children of the families involved.  Each family will receive all the food that makes up a great Christmas dinner, as well as great new gifts for their children.

The group with a couple of great helpers not shown, gather to assemble and deliver the food and gifts.

The goods being divided into five boxes for the five families.  The gifts had not yet arrived at the time of this
picture, but they were there and the Brethren and Ladies spared no expense so the children will have a wonderful and happy Christmas.

Thank you all for your wonderful assistance
and we'll see you next year.

Merry Christmas
